Dr. Thakur is board-certified in internal medicine. She believes in the holistic benefit of personalized patient care in addressing acute illnesses and boosting long-term health. She tailors treatments to her patient’s need to address acute illnesses and encourage long term wellbeing. Dr. Thakur is committed to PROVIDING compassionate, quality care in preventive medicine and management of chronic diseases, including diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, thyroid and hormone disorders, weight management, asthma, and COPD.
Personal Life
Dr. Thakur is a multilingual fluent in English, Hindi, Maithili and Bengali. Having lived in the Lone Star State for a long time, she is a proud Texan and proudly serves local communities. She completed her residency at Texas Tech Health Science Center and served the DFW community for over 20 years.
